  INDUCTION

Induction cooking is based on magnetic elds: each ‘element’ (an induction coil) generates a magnetic eld that induces heat onto a ferrousmaterial in the base of the pan.In other words the pot becomes theelement that cooks the food, and asa consequence energy efciency ismaximized and heat loss is minimized asonly the base of the pan is heated.On the contrary, the surface of the hobdoesn’t reach the temperature of aceramic hob.Another benet of this system is that anysplashes will not burn onto the hob topand can be easily wiped away.
